How do I block someone from my memrise course ?

I keep on getting people I do not want learning my courses, so I end up deleting them just because I don’t want people learning them! Is there a way to stop someone learning my courses?

If you don’t want people you don’t know to be using your courses, you can set your Memrise course status to “unlisted” in the “Details” panel. I’m guessing if somebody has the URL for the course they can still do it, but it won’t show up in the course searches.

There are three status possible for a course you create.

Public
Unlisted (you send your friend the URL)
Incomplete (just you - even if you have finished it)

Yes but what If someone has already joined my course, and I change the status they are still on it!

If you don’t want others to see your course, set the course status to either Unlisted or Incomplete as mentioned by spoonpuppet and sircemloud.

You can’t block others from learning / viewing your course once they have already started learning.

Don’t send links to other users if you don’t want them to join your course.
