Maybe I’m missing something, but why can I not go back one screen while in a lesson? I have the “auto detect” in the app disabled, but sometimes the screen progresses anyway when I get the answer correct/incorrect. I’d like to be able to go to the next screen on my own, or go back just for extra review.
For example, the learning with locals. I know I can replay the video, but once I answer, it goes to the next question automatically. I’d like to be able to replay the video with the selected answer, even if I got it wrong, as just an extra bit of review. The website is the same way. It goes to the next question and won’t let me go back to the previous question.
This is the one thing that I really like in Duolingo. Once I answer, I am in charge of when to progress to the next question and can replay the audio, or read the screen, as often as I’d like.
Basically, is there a way to navigate to previous questions or go forward on my own without the app handling the navigation for me?

As a new user, I have the same question. It’s pretty basic functionality in my view. It’s also disappointing to see that over three years there has been no response to the question. Does Memrise not support the Forum?
