I don’t think you can.

If you use the www.memrise.com web portal you can install a Tampermonkey user script “Timer disabler”.
If you want to use the mobile apps you are lost and I strongly want to suggest to use the “classic reviews” on the website if you want to get rid of multiple choice, any hints or timers (I just used a very old Android app version to learn NEW words, but never for reviews).
Inoffical (web portal) workarounds in compatible browsers (e.g Firefox, Chrome)
I would like that to be added actually, speed review is sort of a ‘blink and you miss it’ ordeal
If you have speed review… The Paid iOS app does not have it (web site has it), strange, paid versions have less features.
It feels kind of wasted on me then considering I barely use it lol
