French (The basics 1) - Continuously loading

French Course 1 repeatedly loads when I’m trying to continue with the course: I started the course today and completed part of it until I reached a panel that displayed a spinning symbol to suggest it was loading but the panel never appeared (waiting 1 minute). I exited the course and re-entered and I got through a few more phrases before running into the same issue. The phrases that do load will load almost immediately so I know it’s not a download speed issue. I’ve reached a point where I can restart the app and whenever I choose “continue leaning” I am presented with a never ending loading symbol. I am assuming it’s the same phrase or video that is failing to load each time.

It is preventing me from progressing the course.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to course: French 1 - The Basics 1.
  2. progress through the course until you reach the phrase that doesn’t load.

Thanks

This is also happening for me for the past 2 weeks.
Specifically the “ça va ?” video is where I am stuck.

French 1 looks to be the issue.
French 2 seemed to work fine but I didn’t get far before coming here.

We have replaced the video for ‘ca va’, please try again now

Hi James,
Thanks for looking into this, but still no.
It looks to be a loading issue.
The video for ça va just spins but if i swipe to get the audio for it, it works. It then progresses through “oui” no problem but then it stalls out when it tries to load the next phrase.
I also tried downloading the lesson but there was also an issue with that - although its the first time ive tried to download and assume its not a subscription permission thing.
So seems lile I have a minor cache of phrases and then stalls on loading new content.
Good luck,
Chris

Could you please try logging in and out of the app so your cache refreshes?

James, with a logout it looks to be working now.
Hopefully if Joe does the same, it fixes his problem - Joe sorry for hijacking your thread.
Thanks James, cheers Joe!

No worries at all Chris!

After redownloading the app the issue is also fixed for me. So I’m happy for this to be resolved as far as I am concerned.

Thanks James
