The Beef is le bœuf, but this was marked wrong and I was made to correct it to le boeuf. Now when it teaches the egg it correctly is l’œuf, not l’oeuf. So why is it not set to properly accept le bœuf ?
When making problem report about a specific course, it could help if you include a link to the specific course, in your post. Sometimes, especially for popular topics like French, there are multiple courses on memrise with very similar or even identical titles. If you include the full URL of the course you’re reporting, it will be clear which course you mean.
Also, check if the course owner is here on this community site, by typing @username to tag them in your post. If you try to tag them by username and get a popup menu that lets you select and tag them, then you know they’re here. (Try it right now, type @cos when you reply, and you’ll see that it lets you select me)

@Ember33 - I did not say that this is the wrong place to post about it. This is the right place to post. But this is also the right place to post problems with many, many, many other courses. What I said was that when you post here about a specific course, you should include, in your post, the direct link to the specific course you are posting about. Put that course’s URL here, in your post.
Sorry, I’m still new and I know there are other topic courses made up by other people, but I was not aware there was another French 1 [this is the only title of the course I see] course other than the one made by Memrise.
Okay, but could you please give the link (not title, link) to the course you are talking about?
@pdao gave a link to a course, did they guess correctly? Is that the course you meant?

I wouldn’t really call the no ligature version wrong, as the ligature is often omitted when typing and doesn’t fundamentally change anything about the word. The ligature version should be presented and be accepted though.
