French 1 Course review problem

I’ve finished the French 1 course. Memrise prompts me to review words/items as is normal. However - I do the reviews - it gives totally incorrect responses (the audio) to my answers. It’s very bizarre. If, for example, it asks me to find the translation for ‘the man’ and I select l’homme - the audio response might be anything - literally. What is going on? This did not happen as I was taking the course.

This doesn’t happen for me… Are you reviewing on the website or mobile?

Also, did you try logging out/ shutting down your browser? Probably a basic response, but sometimes if any of my apps bug out, I just come out of them and they’re okay when I go back in.

If it’s a reoccurring problem, may be worth reloading the app onto your phone or (if you use the website) contacting Memrise directly.

Does this happen in other courses ? It sounds more like a bug.

No - just that one. I logged out of my account completely and after logging back in - it does not seem to occur.

I’m guessing - but also a software engineer. When u answer a question, it plays the audio of the right answer. The pointers to the ‘right’ answer seem to have gotten scrambled so that any audio was played.

After logging out and then back in - it seems to have recalculated all of that info and seems to be ok. But it only affected that one course, not other ones that I was also doing. I’m guessing that the issue wasn’t particular to that course but to how the system maintains links to this information. B/C I had not actually logged out and back in in quite a while - something got scrambled for that one course.

Ok so it was a temporary bug. It is fixed, I will close this thread.

Thanks for explaining.
