Memrise said they were offering a course on arabic based on the koran. How do I Locate that course in particular?

That could be a good way to learn a language… through actual references and can be used in everyday life.

You know, even those whose mother tongue is Arabic learn everyday through the Holy Quran (even non muslims), because its style is just amazing and non reproducible. So, I encourage you to learn arabic using this method, but if you are an ultimate beginner, studying other books in parallel would be helpful.
In this course, the words are translated, but if you want to understand the sentences (the verses in this this cas) you can also find the interpretation of the meaning of the different chapters, on different websites like islamhouse or other websites. You can also learn how to read because recitations are easily found, you can find them on youtube for example.
