I bought Mandarin Chinese course, and I really like it, but the one thing that bothers me is that there are cards (I guess that’s the term) where it plays video of a native speaker saying something and the user has to select or type in the pinyin for what they just said, which is great (I love these). If I’m wrong, the app will tell me what the correct answer is and what the English translation is. BUT if I’m right it doesn’t tell me what the English translation is! Sometimes I can tell what they’re saying but can’t remember what it actually MEANS, and it would be really nice if, after I’ve answered, it not only told me that I correctly identified the correct pronunciation but what it means.
