Hi!
Can someone explain me the purpose of the spelling exercises when I have to write a word or expression in my source language? It is so frustrating and time-consuming! Also, why would I have to remember the order of words if I need to write more than one equivalent? It’s also frustrating! For example: „very; too” is fine but „too, very” is not fine at all 
Is there any way to switch off spelling in my source language? I read on the forum somewhere that Memrise was going to switch those exercises off but I still get them

Hi @alicjawiacek, thanks for your post! Would you mind sharing a screenshot of the course you are learning? We fixed this for the official courses a couple of months ago so this shouldn’t happen. Could it be that you are on the old course or community courses?

The names of the courses I am using are:
“Learn Basic Mandarin Chinese”
“Mandarin Chinese 1”
