I have a suggestion. If you allow users to include a column with “noun”, “verb”, “adjective” or “other” for each entry, that would make it far easier to find more realistic ‘wrong’ answer for the vocabulary check. Now you can easily get a noun as a wrong answer for the translation of a verb, which makes it easier to choose the right answer.
