When learning new words I get the audio, get asked to choose the corresponding pinyin and after choosing, I get the correct answer in chinese characters.
Two problems with this:
- Before I even get a good look at the characters, it moves to the next question.
- What is this word in English? How am I supposed to learn the word if there’s no translation? Maybe there was another time but I forgot. So what am I learning now? Just how audio is translated to pinyin? That’s not that hard anyways, so what were these quizzes for again?
