I’ve used Memrise for many years, nearly since its start. I’m now a teacher of Spanish and French and I am kind of seen as the “resident Memrise expert” at my school for this site. I use it with my kids, and they LOVE using the site, but there are a few things that would really help me assess their use of this that I would love to see implemented. I would be willing to pay a good sum for these features as it would save me SO MUCH TIME! I am sure other teachers would as well.

A gradebook feature that can be set to automatically grade students in groups based on which specific lessons they learned fully, the % of their total words learned in long term memory averaged over time, and their points earned. This, at bare minimum, would save me so much time that I currently spend looking at the leaderboards and the stats pages to manually input grades for the kids weekly. I think this would also make Memrise a leader in bringing Spaced Repetition to schools if they can make it easier for teachers to use in this way. I believe strongly in the science behind what Memrise is doing, so I really hope this feature comes to fruition!

Do not require me to start learning a course in order to assign it to my groups. Many of my fellow teachers had trouble setting up classes because of this weird restriction and it just confused a lot of people.

Be able to track which words for a group are most difficult on average. This would help me differentiate and target specific words for more exposure when kids come to class.
Again, I would pay good money to see these features implemented. I get a good sum of money each year from my school to use on resources of my choice, and I would gladly use it on Memrise pro or a new Memrise teacher plan if they would work on implementing it.
