[Feature Request] User submission for "learn with locals"

I like the Learn with Locals feature as it helps with pronunciation, understanding different accents and making the app feel more premium. However, there seems to be very little variation/content and I see the same few words being repeated (I am learning Danish). I can only assume that this is due to lack of content which may be difficult or time consuming to come by.

Why not offer user submission via the website or app and incentivise with membership price reductions reductions or some sort of karma/badge system. I think that this would generate a lot of new content which in turn would make purchase of the product more appealing.

Anyway that just my 2 cents.
Thanks

Yeah, Google Maps does that too, it asks me questions to update some information that is missing when I have been somewhere.
Still an expert need to listen to each submission to know whether it meets the memrise quality standards.

Maybe select a forum leader (per language) or someone who has contributed a lot to as a first stage of filtering. Then they would pass on what they feel is safe/accurate and let Memrise add or remove the submitted content. Those moderators would get free premium and the submitters need a certain amount approved before they are given a discount.

Hi there, I think, it is a bug! I have the same problem and due to that problem even don’t use the “learn with locals” mode anymore.
In my experience, the mode produces always the same couple of words and phrases - although there are so much more videos available within this course!

What a shame - the mode itself is great! What’s the problem there? It would be great if somebody could “repair” this…

I love to see this two

it was the reason I paid for memrise and it’s treated like a little baby feature coddled amidst chatbots and massive overhauls. I remember the tone, the quality of voice, the rhythm and the beauty of the woman who taught me “ich weiß es nicht”. That’s the good stuff.
