It’s fun way to learn different words from memorise. So I’d like discover and learn new courses but as we know, many words in both courses are same and it’s so tedious. I think there must be some synchronise option which automatically filter learned words and consider them as a already learned. I am sure it will make application more efficient and easy to learn more words as sometimes many people don’t like to repeat learned word. I hope u will consider my idea as asset and in next update this feature emerge… Finger cross…

This was a feature available for the first 3 or 4 years memrise was around. When beginning a new course, you could hit a button called “auto-ignore” that would ignore all words you already learned (assuming that these words were the same entry from the same database. For instance, if there were multiple entries of the same word, it would need to be manually ignored if you had learned a different version).
Unfortunately, this feature was scrapped amidst much protest. Most development is now geared towards the app, so considering the “official” memrise courses often use full sentence structures in their courses, there would be less incentive for them to bring back a feature that helps in standalone words.
I suggest to treat the feature neglect as a positive by letting it give you the chance to just go through the level’s word list every day before planting new seeds, and do a nice, quick review of what words you’re learning today while clicking ignore for anything you already know. You can also use the time to get a head start on what kind of meme you can make for the day’s words.
