I’ve used memrise.com since beta, (yes, I still miss the garden and don’t like the new avatar vs. the levels) and I still don’t enjoy the app.
One reason is that there could be, and isn’t, a parallel to “See Answer” while using the app. If I don’t remember the answer, maybe it’s been a year since I opened the app (yet still I’m a paid subscriber), I want to be able to review during the review section.
Please add “See Answer” to the app (I’m using the iOS version).
The fact that the app continues to lack similar functions to the web based interface is one of my long standing frustrations with what could otherwise be an excellent learning experience.
