Feature request: Please explain evolution levels

I am apparently on evolution level 12. Nowhere can I find what this means or when I might reach level 13 (or why)
Please can this be made clear on the site?

I’m assuming you’re referring to Ziggy. In terms of what it means, it’s just a feature similar to levels in video games.
As for to see how much points you need to reach the next level, then that depends on the platform you’re using.
In the web, fastest way is to press on your profile picture at the top of the page:

If you’re on Android, just press the “You” button bottom center:
