[Feature Request] Make number of learning/review words customizable by course

I’m taking multiple courses with widely varying difficulties, such that reviews of length, say, 50 that are good for one (e.g., Spanish vocabulary) are far too many for others (e.g., full Latin sentences with conjugations, declensions, etc.).

As a result, every time I switch between courses I have to change my global settings for the number of words per learning session and review session.

My feature request is simple: In addition to having global settings, allow users to customize the number of learning and review words on a course-by-course basis.

I have to admit, that would be very good. I decided I want to study Polish, but aside from the complete absence of helpful Mems (and no luck inventing any of my own), this makes it very hard to study. But I have a lot more experience with Spanish, so it’s a breeze most of the time.
I wonder if anyone who scripts is doing something for this?

Hi Michael,

why did you place your “feature request” into the Spanish (Latin-American/Mexican) language sub-forum?

Can you move/edit it?

Cooljingle’s “Infinitive learning” user script was great, as you could terminate your 100 words review session any timxe, when you clicked on the numbers on the top left corner, and you were moved to the summary (bonus points) screen:

With latest Memrise code updates of module re-organization unfortunately it does not work anymore and there seem to be bigger problems since March of updating it because on non-accessible global variables.

I am not aware of any script to customize the “learning” of 10 vs 15 words on the fly per course.

I believe infinitive-learning could be used together with the script memrise-learning-retries to plant ALL words of a complete level (e.g 70 words); but honestly, it has been a longer time I used it and I can not exactly remember anymore how it used to work with “learning NEW words”…
