[feature request] [feedback] Continuity of features between app and web

I know that some continuity features have been discussed before - with a focus on decks and community created content.

But just some general thoughts of feedback for the app:

There are some fairly detailed learning stats that exist on the Memrise webpage such as learning time breakdowns (across a month, a week, streak stats) that don’t exist in the app. This separation means that I find I don’t engage in them, Ideally it would be great to at least have the same stats that exist on the app (the so far today section with words review, new words, minutes learned) and it would be great to see this feature show your overall minutes learned and words studies across all courses, as well as per course.

It would be great to see some quality of life fixes for the app such as being able to add friends into the leaderboard from the app and to have a way to submit feedback either through an email link, feedback submission page or via the app.

Essentially the two entities (app and web) feel very separated, with little cohesion. In a time where we want to pick up and go with learning materials and fit it around daily life it would be great to have as much available via the app. I know there have been some changes around community created courses with the move to Decks, and back again. Not sure personally as to the reason for them to be added via the webpage only except for pulling focus to the Memrise created courses. It would be great to have a way to access and add them via the app still, even if it was in a separate tab / area. Seems like if there was a tab for Memrise courses and a quick explanation of the benefits of these, and a tab for community related courses with an explanation as to what types of content you may find then this could provide access and still showcase the benefits of Memrise created content.

Yes, if total similarity and benefits are hard to achieve at present, then a note and link to the web platform for additional information, options and access to Community-created courses would be a great step forward.

And a link to the Forum would also be great to have.

I suspect that many App users have no idea of the wealth of other courses (as additional language study - in addition to the excellent language courses MemRise provides), nor of other subjects nor the support available on the Forum by users, creators and of course MemRise staff.

There is just so much inconsistency across the Web and App, furthermore, the differences between the android and iOS versions are so ambiguous it really falls short on creating a user experience that is universal.

I just want to highlight that the same course is really more challenging on the web than on the phone app, especially on the module “difficult words”. Also on “speed reviews”, the website makes me review all words, while on the phone app only a handful of vocab is checked. Is it a normal experience?
