This could be an extension of the current Difficult Word functionality. Allow the user to add/remove any word/phrase in the course to a My Difficult Words list, with that list’s items being randomly inserted into review sequences. NO AUTOMATIC REMOVAL from this list; let the user decide when they no longer find the word/phrase difficult.

Totally agree. In the old (alpha) version I could keep track of my accuracy (how many times you have a difficult word right expressed in a number). I could remove and add difficult words without them being automatically removed. With the new (beta) version that isn’t possible anymore. Such a pity.
The DW feature is so very half-baked, it’s a real shame. In every course I learned, there is pretty much always a bunch of words that I can’t seem to get right most of the time.
I’d so much wish I’d be able to just (speed) review over all DWs, instead of having to use this stupid 4-words-
over-and-over-again-mode which is just a pain.
I’ve been trying to convince them to add such a feature (I even offered to pay for a share of the development costs), but to no avail. It should be soooo easy really, as they have everything in place …
