For languages like Russian you don´t know where the emphasis is in a word just by looking at it. For such languages it would sometimes be handy to see a visual indication of where the stress should go. (For Russian, LingoDeer app does this by adding an accent symbol.) Definitely something configurable though so you can disable it if you want to.
