I’m not sure if this is the correct category to share this information, so please forgive me if it is not.
For the past month or so I have been creating some image-based courses, and I have noticed that at random times in each one duplicate images will appear at testing time for no apparent rhyme or reason, and with no apparent underlying duplication in the database. It’s a minor annoyance, but something that clearly wasn’t happening a while back. There is nothing I can delete since there are no duplications in any of the databases (and only one attached image per line item). And, there are clearly more than enough items in each level of each course to allow for unique randomization of display at testing time.
I don’t expect anyone to say or do anything, I am merely documenting this issue for posterity just in case anyone happens to stumble upon any of my courses in the future and comes across a duplicate image at testing time. If they report it, I can simply point them to this thread and say it was a known issue at a certain point in time, but one that may never be resolved.
Again, it’s not course critical, just something rather annoying - especially if you select the “wrong” duplicated image at testing time and get dinged for it being “wrong”, when in fact it is “right”, just the “wrong” duplication. How is one supposed to know which one might be “right” since they are identical ? Thanks.
