I’m seeing a new issue now, in both Memrise courses and in one of the courses I’m maintaining, involving a doubling of definitions.
In the garden it looks like an alternative has been added (for some of the words) that is identical to the definition, but with a comma instead of a semicolon. In the database for the course I’m maintaining nothing is visible.
See examples below from the garden (first is from Memrise’s Duits 5). The issue seems to only occur for definitions that contain a semicolon.
That sure does sound like it’s related to the phantom entry script (a semicolon is used to terminate a JavaScript command). Do you have any courses that contain semicolons and that you haven’t used the script with? Might be worth testing these too.
@neoncube: would it be possible that you changed other areas as well to make your script compatible with Decks?

I introduced it yesterday by trying to allow more possibilities when dealing with word containing a ‘;’ (so that you can only input one, or input them in a different order).

You’re rather new here on the forum. Could all of you guys get a Memrise badge or something so we can easily recognise you as bona fide Memrise employees?
This problem came up in a number of community courses I use and curate. I kept trying to check whether I had put in any alternatives, but no, I hadn’t. After it happened maybe half a dozen times, I realized it had to be some sort of glitch on the memrise side. But it was kind of annoying, nonetheless
Since it seems to be perfectly clear what caused the problem I presume that this will at least be fixed quickly and without the need to amend any of the course data / vocabulary.
