"Do you want to come with me" - suggestion

I’m doing the Michel Thomas French course and keep getting it wrong when asked to write “Do you want to come with me” in French. Based on how the sentence is structured I write “voulez-vous venir avec moi”. However the correct answer given is "est-ce que vous voulez venir avec moi’.
Can I suggest adding "(eat-ce que) to the end of the question to avoid confusion and inconsistency.

Someone started a course forum thread for this course about two days ago, and the course author (@jdgamble555) responded quickly to her comment.

Thanks will copy the comment over to that thread

I’m sorry to respond here and not in the Spanish Michel thomas forum. but i just cant find it.
i enjoyed the 1-12 classes in the course. And after many times trying to learn Spanish Michel is the only one that could make me stick to it. and this course is the best thing i ever found, and i’m not even an native English speaker. thanks allot.

but i think there are some errors in 13 and possibly above.

Spanish course answer correct

comenzamos we will start (near future) we (will) start

empezamos we will start (near future) we (will) start
