Does anyone know how to spell “hanut”, a small foodshop in Morocco?

Hello!

Do you mean as in how it’s spelled in Arabic? Then it’s حانوت .
If you mean how to spell it in roman letters, I’d say the way you wrote it is pretty close.

Edit: I’d add extra vowels, like Haanuut, based on the Arabic form. Though that’s just me.

in Maltese it is spelled “ħanut” (pl. “ħwienet”) and it means shop.
