Do I need to be a pro member to “learn new words” on iOS app? It is all locked for me in app while it is all good on website.

@mariollo Although Memrise employees have remained silent on the subject, and have deliberately refused to confirm or deny whether or not learning the official Memrise-created courses on the apps is restricted to Pro members only, the general consensus, based on the experience of numerous users, is that they are only allowing paying members to make learning progress on the official courses using the apps.

Learning on the web site is still free, and you can still learn user-created courses on the apps, but you have to start learning them on the web site first.
That’s incorrect, and sending you a screenshot will accomplish nothing. The “Administrators” know exactly what is going on, and they don’t need to investigate anything. They are the ones who ordered the apps to be programmed to behave as they do, so obviously it’s not a bug.
