I wanted to go pro and I’m in Turkey. I want to pay for plan from website. On my ipad the price is shown as 28 TL for annual plan, But on web I see $30 for the same plan which is literally three times more. So I was wondering what’s going on? Does Memrise have different prices for different markets and countries?
If so why doesn’t it show 28TL on web too for me?
It is easier to target different price points on mobile.

On the web they could try to use location services, but you could get around it with VPN etc, and if you used user settings then people would just change them, while making their purchase.
Companies often split the web into different customer groups, by having high prices, and then offering lots of vouchers and special discounts - to separate money-rich people from time-rich people.
