Dependent prepositions (with verbs, adjectives and nouns). Where to find a comprehensive list? English

Could someone help?

Note: not phrasal verbs!

It’s a little short request, won’t you say. I suppose that the request is actually in the title, if not clarify. Interesting question though!

Could you be more specific?
Do you mean things like

  • go TO a place
  • live IN a street
  • walk ALONG a road

Giving a few examples would help to understand what you mean.

I’ve never heard the term “dependent prepositions”! And I have been teaching English for the last thirty years

What country do they use this term in?

Perhaps it’s not an official term - I think the user means to ask about the specific prep that (usually) starts the clause for a specific verb. Or, regarding nouns, the typical prep that goes with a specific noun.
