Deleting or transferring ownership of user-created courses

If I delete a course that I created, does that mean that the course is completely removed from Decks, even if other people have been using it? What would that look like from the perspective of the other users? Would the course just disappear from their list of courses?

Also, is it possible to transfer ownership of a course once it has been created, assigning someone else the role of creator? Or is it only possible to add other users as contributors, with fewer rights?

Yes, if a course creator deletes their course, everything goes. It’s explained in the FAQs:

Transferring ownership, with full rights, isn’t possible. You can make someone a contributor and their ‘cans’ and ‘cannots’ are listed here:

Hope this helps.
