In Memrise, I study Russian. Until recently the font had not changed in several years. Now suddenly, it’s changed to new font which is wider and bold. This makes the Russian harder to read and sometimes the text is too large for the boxes so all of the words can’t be read. It would be appreciated if either the font could be put back the way it was, or better still, fonts and font sizes could be set on user profile settings. Doing speed reviews feels very uncomfortable with the new fonts. Also, the colours used for correct and incorrect are horrible. I’m colour deficient (type of colour blindness) and the green is very disconcerting!

it’s not just Russian. I find English and Czech also much harder to read in this huge font. I wonder which users they check this with before releasing updates?

I use Memrise for Japanese, and the new font also makes kanji much harder to recognise and read, especially the very busy characters. I’m very disappointed with this update, a common theme with Memrise updates it seems.

Wow, that’s huge!
And yet, the one place where we had asked them to increase the size of the font (Arabic, in the lists of words contained in each level) seems to have remained unaddressed. Sigh.
