I just completed a course that I had set a daily goal for, so i earned higher and higher daily goal badges. This was pretty motivating but now that i completed it, the Daily Goal feature for that course has disappeared and it seems I can’t continue my streak to even review a bit everyday (which is something I should do anyway at least for a little while to make sure i know the words well).
So the question is, can you keep the daily goals going with other courses and keep getting higher badges or does it just end when you’re done with the course? And if it does end, how are you supposed to get very high badges like I see some people have, like in the 100s or even 500+. I hope the only way isn’t do to as little as possible, or only review forever when you get near the end of the course, not even completing.
Even if you achieve the set daily goal for a completed course it is not visible on the website. Not without a subscription at least.

If you want a really high streak you will have to pick long courses and go slow at them. At the moment I am learning in eight courses simultaneously with goals set to the minimum (and four more without a set goal). But I do this mainly for variation in my learning.
If you have any ignored items in the course, you can un-ignore one of them, and the course will count as ‘unfinished’ again, and you should be able to see the goal settings again. This has been how I’ve kept my longer streaks.
Alternatively, if you don’t have any ignored items and it’s worth it to you, you could reset the progress in a level, then re-learn everything, ignoring one item, so that it doesn’t get learned. Then, once you’re done with the level, go back and un-ignore the item. This will let you continue to see the goal settings, but that one item won’t be able to be added to your rotation, since it’s there to keep the course ‘unfinished’.
Reviewing every day a course you have finished means you have to do 1500 words if there aren’t any words due to review…it can be quite boring
Much better Idea is to make your own (private, unlisted) course for everything you need to remember on wide scale of categories. Every category gets its own database(s). For example: music, literature, geography, german, spanish, art, sports, foreign words, difficult words, etc etc
This way course grows with you and you’ll never have to review finished course for a long period of time just for your daily goal badge, because this course is never ending… And you are always learning new stuff
It doesn’t have to be complex…you can keep it as simple as you want, because if you don’t publish it it is only for your eyes and no-one can’t criticize it
Speed review gives a lot more points than regular ‘practice’ sessions. That’s what I use whenever I need to ‘pad out’ a course’s goal. It only takes me a few minutes to get 1,500 points.
Hi @Atikker - that’s an interesting idea. If I understand properly, you create your own, private course with all the stuff from other courses that you wish to learn. In that case, how do you add the questions to your course ? Do you add them one question at a time (which sounds rather tedious) or can you import other courses’ questions en masse into your private course ?
Hi, @albo2albo! I do it both ways… When adding few items, I do it one-by-one… When I have lots of entries to add I do the bulk-add-thing. I do it constantly, that’s why the course is never-ending
I setup a private course (just for me). I add words that I’m really struggling with and I just keep adding to the list. In theory I’ll never run out so I’ll have a continuous streak.
