CSRF verification failed in garden

Few days ago, everything worked fine, but today when I went to review some course, after entering the first word, I ran into an issue, saying:

Uh-oh, something went wrong. Click OK to resume your session. (CSRF Verification Fail)

This happens in Firefox, not in Chrome. The error happens when calling https://www.memrise.com/api/garden/register/, resulting in 403 Forbidden. The csrftoken cookie is being sent in the request.

I have the same problem, but in Chrome. I have several userscrips for Memrise installed. I think one of them (Memrise Audio Provider) is causing the problem. I disabled the script and the error message disapeared.

Do you see the same error after refreshing the browser?

Yes, even after disabling all add-ons.

“Oh-oh, something went wrong. Click OK to resume your session. (CSRF Verification Fail)”.

Because of this I simply cannot learn one item in this course: https://www.memrise.com/course/178194/hsk-5000-source-ligomi-pinyin-english/

I am having the same issue. I’m using chrome browser on a chromebook. I uninstalled the memrise extension, turned off all other extensions, deleted history and cache etc, refreshed browser, logged off and on, shut down and restarted computer, ensured the app wasn’t running on my phone by force closing it, and it’s still not working ED COOKE. Your grand master memory isn’t helping right now.

@mika.talvinen so what changed between your post time and a few days prior?

I have the same.
German course, 2 browsers (chrome and opera vpn), both are with the same error.
