New words and levels do not load on the device since yesterday. The word count seems to show the correct amount of words but the newly added words are not accessible from the app. Refreshing, logging out and reinstalling the app do not have any effect — I still get the course in the state I had it 2 days ago with no changes I have done since then.
I should add that I have been working on my course for the last 2 weeks and everything was fine and all the words were syncing perfectly before yesterday.
I have this issue on both my apple devices with different versions of memrise. And it seems like the Android app has the same problem.
My newly created course of 285 items works fine on the web version, but has only 1 item on the iOS app. Since I learned the first 5 items on the web version, the iOS app now says I have completed the entire course (which of course only contains 1 of the 285 items). This is one of the strangest bugs I have ever seen on Memrise.
@MariaMller ~ That’s the best indication that this is probably a syncing issue. If one only used the web version, one would not even be aware that there is an issue with either of the app versions.
Yes, I totally agree. We had issues with the app several times this week (my boyfriend also with memrise-created courses), it did not show anything several times and didn’t save the review sessions in our home network (at uni it worked again). Since the memrise updates, the app works again, but the newly created levels are not shown
I’m just doing all my learning on the web version for now, and then hopefully that will carry over to the app version once they resolve the issue. I am also continuing to create new courses, and expand existing ones, again expecting that to be okay with the app version once they resolve the issue. Life (and learning) needs to go on, despite the temporary technological setbacks.
Our developers went into a caffeine fuelled frenzy trying to figure out and resolve this issue. A fix rolled out a few minutes ago, so all of your course content will now be synced with the mobile apps.
