[Courses Fora] Hydroptère's courses

Well, you’ve saved me the trouble of even browsing some of his books. My Italian is quite rusty, and I wanted to look over the vocabulary from your courses to see if I got the gist of them. But from the excerpts, yeah… no.

I think you’d get a kick out of these lists because there really are a host of novelists and novels similar to him and his works.

Most edifying is, perhaps, this blog https://theuntranslated.wordpress.com/

EDIT: I should mention I have a feeling you’d enjoy https://www.amazon.fr/Boussole-Prix-Goncourt-Mathias-Enard/dp/2330053126/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1495211215&sr=1-1&keywords=enard+boussole

EDIT: Oh, and this (though, he’s dead). http://storberose.blogspot.pt/2012/10/gonzalo-torrente-ballester-la-sagafuga.html

ok, thanks

(howeve,r I have more books to read at home(s) that I have time in this life )

Ich kann bestimmt Ihre Begünstigte der Bücher sein. (Ich finde es furchtbar dass ich kann Thomas Mann lesen, aber kann ich nicht einen kurzen Satz schreiben. :sob:)

neee, tut mir leid, aber bin Bücher Fetischistin, nix schenken da

… just spoke like that idiot, sorry, that came Friday to an interview, being sure that his dev abilities are so outstanding, that the language - that he cannot use but twitterstyle - is not a matter of any importance. “Dies außerhalb des Gegenstandes. Und auch wieder nicht, da die Frage, ob zwischen der edel-pädagogischen Welt des Geistes und jener Geisterwelt, der man sich nur unter Gefahren naht, eine klare und sichere Grenze zu ziehen ist, sehr wohl und nur zu sehr zu meinem Gegenstande gehört.” - Serenus Zeitblom dixit.

Given that the signs for the impending shuting down of user-created courses and of a true web version are not only clear enough, but as huge as the … Trump Tower, this forum-thread is closed by today. Thanks to those users having learned in my courses.

Hello Niamh,

I was trying to find out what happened to your French course “la mer”… I guess I’ve found the answer here…
Sad to see these things go, but it’s okay, I actually converted this course to anki some time ago (…it comes from being a linux user, I have a distrust in the permanence of anything proprietary or closed source, I sensed the downfall of this site years ago).
Well anyway, if you or someone wants that anki file then let me know - actually, I saved a couple of your courses.

Thanks so much for creating these though. Your work meant that I didn’t have to make any courses myself… as we’re learning the same languages and have common interests (sailing, buddhism…) so you’d already made the courses I wanted:)

whoops

I think I took it out because i had the impression that nobody was interested. The other courses of mine you used to take are still online (buddhism, spanish sea, etc) - for any other questions, please send me a PM, as I am not very active in these fora anymore.

btw, did you make a tiny mention that those courses are mine (if youu made them plublic on ankidesk), as I worked like an ox to make them? Happy learning, and thanks for using them! Nice to see you after so many years of observing your learning :grinning:
