Course 1179783 is Spanish 1 for English(US) speakers and course 1098043 is the equivalent Spanish 1 for English(UK) speakers. The content of both courses is mostly the same but there are some differences in respect of European English and American English (for example: “trousers/pants”). You will not need to learn both.
I am already learning 1098043 and just tried starting to learn 1179783 on my iOS app to see if I have the same problem as you. When I then opened the website version, both courses were listed on my dashboard. Have you tried closing the website and then logging on again? Does that make a difference?
When you are browsing the list of available courses on the app, what does it say at the top of the page? Is it “Courses for English(UK) speakers” or “Courses for English(US) speakers”? You can change that setting if you need to.
You may find it is better to only have one version of the course running.
Thanks for the information alanh. It seems I have subscribed to the
English(US) course for Spanish 1 then. But the website doesn’t want to list
that version, only the English(UK) one. I can understand the apps/websites
behavior and so far I can manage

It’s odd that the course isn’t synching across from your app to the website, though. Does it make any difference if you change the display filter in the dropdown from “Recently Learned” to “With Goal Set” or to "By Category - Spanish(Spain)? :

It was set to Category Filter to another Course. So sorry for the hassle
and I’m very embarrassed.
