This is the course forum for Wortschatzübungen für Muttersprachler by @Robane .

I found some issues that make it difficult to master:

  1. not all nouns have specified articles
    Dissens (der)
    Arithmetik (die)

  2. If a noun can be used with more than one article, you have to remember the order
    for example: Nargileh, die oder das : Nargileh, das oder die won’t be accepted
    Klafter, der oder das
    Per­pen­di­kel, der oder das
    Katheder, der oder das
    Sou­ter­rain, das oder der

  3. The same problem occurs when a noun has more than one spelling
    Ste­no­gra­fie, Ste­no­gra­phie, die
    Ka­na­pee, Ca­na­pé, das

The course creator doesn’t seem to be active here any more, @haeda, so it might be difficult to get these changes made unless you contact @Lien and ask her to contact Robane to see if they are interested in working on the course again.

If the original course creator has moved on, would you be willing to become a course contributor and make the necessary changes yourself, haeda?

Being a course contributor doesn’t give you all the privileges of a course creator, but you would be able to access the course database and make changes to the definitions.

I have been doing this for a number of Swedish courses and it has really helped improve my Swedish!
