Hi nice course so far. Thank you very much. Im at days of month and seems there are only exceptions listed after 10th day. I learned how days 11-13 and other non irregular numbers from elsewhere. Maybe if there were like 11, 12, 21 and 22. People would figure it out. Maybe 30th day too. Good job anyway and thanks again.

Hi @MisterLoli,

Thanks for the suggestion! I will add these days into the course soon.

Cheers,
:deciduous_tree: Willow

Update, August 31st, 2016:

  1. Added 11th, 12th, 13th, and 30th days of the month
  2. Added some missing sound files
  3. Added introduction to course:

In the Japanese language, there are two tones. Low and high. As you learn these words, listen carefully for which tones each word uses.
For example, the word 「はし」if pronounced down-up means “bridge”, but if pronounced up-down it means “chopsticks”.
Carefully perfecting your pitch while speaking Japanese will make a huge difference in being understood by native speakers.

Hi good job. Only mistake i have found so far is sound track of オレンジ orange the fruit. Guess it\s some colors sound track. Few sounds are missing but does not really matter. I ;earned even some grammar so thanks.

I just came across the vocabulary item 2週間前 (にしゅうかんまえ) in this course. For some reason if I type in the word in 平仮名 it is not accepted. It seems like the space in between かん and まえ is compulsory, which is a bit annoying, so maybe you could change that (as in add an alternative answer). Thanks anyway! Nice course!

Hi there! :deciduous_tree:

@MisterLoli, thanks for the feedback. I have corrected the sound file for オレンジ fruit.

@espiacent, thank you as well. I had missed adding the alternative text of にしゅうかんまえ to that item. Thanks for finding the bug. I have fixed this and it should no longer require a space after かん.

Thank you!

In Days,
17th ( day of the month ) the audio sounds wrong.

In Household Verbs several audio files don’t fully match the words:
to do laundry,
to take a shower
to wash your face
to brush your teeth

Hi @iamwillow
I like how the Kanji alternative pops up after I get an answer correct, but it’s italicized. Could you please change this so that they look more natural.
Thank you

Hey there. Sorry about this. I think it may be a Memrise setting for alternative text. I added the kanji as normal, so the app must be italicizing it.

Have you checked this box?
italics

BTW I don’t use the app.

Oh brilliant, I’ve not seen that option before. I’ll check it out. Thanks for the screenshot.
