Ich habe eine Frage über das Wort “das Auge”, das ist auf Italienisch in “gli occhi = the eyes” übergesetzt.
Warum ist “das Auge” (Einzahl) auf “gli occhi” (Mehrzahl) übergesetzt?

Ist es “l’occhio” = “the eye” nicht richtiger?
Und gli occhi = the eyes = die Augen?

Hopefully this is the right place to do it. I would like to report a problem of translation in German 6 for italian speakers.
In level 1 the sentence “die Kette gehört nicht meiner Großmutter” should be translated as “quella collana non appartiene a mia nonna” instead of “quel braccialetto non appartiene a mia nonna” which literally means “das Armband gehört nicht meiner Großmutter”.
