Couldn’t study for the last 3 days due to illness, broke my streaks, feeling thrown off momentum

Catching up with reviews now, will probably take a week to re-establish my daily schedule.

Hi there! Is there any way for this to have audio? If you want I can contribute the audio for the N1 section (will email them or something). Gonna get the audio files through the audio-anki sync with rikai-chan. If you’re too busy I understand. Thanks!

Dear duelli I have no plans for adding audio because I do my audio practice outside of Memrise.

By the way, an easier way to generate audio is to import course to Anki and then use AwesomeTTS plugin.

New Course available! Tobira : Gateway to Advanced Japanese, course follows my preferred style, Kanji prompt with Kana answer with primary focus on Kanji Recognition, English meanings generated with Google Translate, also I have removed all duplicates, additional readings will be added gradually.

Hello, I followed you long time ago, because I love all the memes you make. I check forums every now and then even when I have nothing to add to my courses.

Sorry, does the course have English translation? If the answer is no, why? Thanks

Just found a mistake at level 59. The reading for 担任 is たんにん and not たんいん. Cheers

Fixed. :+1:

Hello! Sorry to bother you. Just found a mistake for level 76. 裏切る should be うらぎる、not
うらきる。

Have a nice day!

For n3 week 4 day 6, there’s a word missing from the book. 帯(おび) belt/sash

Tonbo–Thank you for making the Tobira course. I find that it complements another Tobira course that give the English meanings and asks for the Kanji (https://app.memrise.com/course/182440/intermediate-japanese-tobira-with-audio/). I like having your course so that I can learn to read the Kanji as well. However, the Google translations are sometimes not that great. Would it be possible for you to let me be a contributor to the course so that I could fix some of those, using either the other course or jisho.org, which has sentences to check the meanings?

Ok, I am aware that this might be considered necroposting but I found mistake in this course and I would like to report it. In this course there comes a time when this kanji character appears: 像. There is nothing wrong with the character itself but its translation is wrong. Its translation is “An elephant”, when the kanji for elephant is 象 not 像. 像 means statue, idol etc.

EDIT: I found another mistake. The word 雨靴 should be read as あまぐつ, not あめぐつ.

There is a mistake on level N2週5日3
床屋 should be Barber
