there are some typos: to prepare is preparAr, nor “preperar”…
also, passar should be “to pass, spend time, cross, go beyond”; also ligar is not simply “to call”, maybe to call (up, on phone", because ligar means also to connect, join, etc. To call is chamar, telefonar, convocar etc
Also in this one: https://www.memrise.com/course/387822/practice-makes-perfect-vocab-2/ “vacant, free” is in plural, “vagos”, but the user gets no clue about singular or plural in the entry @Lien, would you please contact @texugo, he is active on memrise, but i could not find him in here. Many thanks, enjoy the sunny september!
Hi Hydroptere, thanks for pointing these out. I have added a plural hint regarding ‘vagos’. I cant seem to find the verbs you mention in the michelle thomas course though. Can you point out which lesson numbers the mistakes are in? Alternatively I wonder if its possible to allow you access to become a contributor to the course, so you can correct any other typos you spot?
sorry for the belated reply… I gave up your courses for a while, one of the reasons being the not very unitary use of the personal pronouns… so I don’t really remember the complains above. But know I am trying again to take some of your courses
Michael Thomas Method Verbs (https://www.memrise.com/course/305541/michel-thomas-method-verbs/) please, would you have the kindness to add the variant with the personal pronoun for "querem vir a Lisboa? " (eles querem vir a lisboa; through the courses, you ask in 95% of the cases for the personal pronoun in front of the verb, otherwise the user is marked red, but not here and there)
many many thanks
also:
pode tê-lo pronto para mim amanhã? also does not have the alternative with personal pronoun, could you mark it somehow ? “no subject” or something)
Quando tem de sair, but from the English “When do you have to go out?” if is asked for you/informal, or for “o senhor, a senhora”
vêm a Portugal no ano que vem, could you add please the alternative with “eles”
és de Londres? - the same lack of hints
tens de estar aqui mais tarde - same lack of hints (you informal or not? with pronoun or not?)
I’ve tried to rectify these points by inserting a few pronouns where suggested in brackets as hints. Hope that helps and you find the course useful. If you havent already used it, I’d recommend trying the audio course it is based on - I found it more helpful than many other resources I have tried
