That works too, but I guess they did something, so now it works fine, even when not selecting level first.
Thank you
Hello @ramajana,
Great to hear that the video feature is working fine now!
Let me know if you have any other question or issues.
Regards,
Ignacio
Just want to make a bug report for the European Portuguese 7 Here is a screenshot:
There is no way to answer correctly as it is looking for “dirigir-se a” and only “dirigir se a” is available
I believe it is in level 12. Forgot to say using the web browser version.
Hi oilyfish,
Thanks for letting us know.
I’ll take a look at it and see how we can fix the problem.
Thank you.
Regards,
Hi oilyfish,
We have just fixed the problem.
Actually, since “dirigir-se a” is considered a 2-word sentence, it should not be presented as a tapping test, but as a typing test.
So, from now on, the test for this word will ask you to type it and that problem shall not happen again.
Let me know if you have any other question.
Kind regards,
Ignacio
Where is the feature Meet the natives? I haven’t come across it yet.
Hello @Mignon_vanStolk27,
How are you doing?
Yeah, the Meet the Natives is working for European Portuguese!
Which Level exactly are you doing?
Regards,
But where is it?
I can not find it either, am looking using laptop and internet browser.
srm001
Oh, I’m afraid that this feature is only available for the mobile platforms!
Actually, there may be one or another video during your lessons in the web, but the dedicated feature/lesson mode “Meet the natives” will be only available in iOS and Android.
Sorry guys!
Does this answer your question?
Regards,
That is a pain in the ear !!
I subscribed to the funding of the project but can not access it. Is there
any chance of Memrise putting it on their internet platform at some time?
srm001
that would be strange, that the feature is available only on mobile platforms only for Portuguese! I have the feature in the English for Chinese speakers on laptops…
Do you?
The info I had is that we do have some videos when learning via web, but there’s not a ‘dedicated’ feature only with videos (the “Meet the natives” button) as there’s in Android and iOS.
But I will confirm this info!
Thanks!
Hi @srm001 and @Hydroptere,
Yes, I’ve confirmed it. My previous info was correct:
You’ll have access to the videos while learning in web, but not as a separated learning mode.
Sorry if that’s not what you were expecting @srm001. But you should still be able to see the videos when learning new words.
Let me know if I can help with anything else.
Regards,
Thank you! Does that mean that I could find it if I logged in on my tablet or smartphone?
Ignacio, você tem razão with this “dedicated feature” (I don’t even know what that is )
Ahahaha sorry @Hydroptere! My bad English. =P
I meant that in the APPs you have a feature that works only with videos (the “Meet the natives” button), like we also have the Speed Review, the Classic Review, etc.
While in web, we do have videos, but they are presented during your regular learning sessions.
Hope this may clarify. =)
Regards,
Yes! If you open your courses in your tablet, you’ll see the button “Meet the natives”. Whenever the sessions you are studying have videos, you’ll be able to watch them and do the tests.
Let me know if that worked! =)
Regards,
I understood your “dedicated feature” perfectly - I understood it is a special/separate feature, which is available only for app users.
(please don’t ask about my English; your English is better that mine, mine used to be quite fine some 15 to 7 years ago :). Being busy learning quite a number of “strange” languages, my brain “transports” grammatical structures from some one language to some other :), and that in most unpredictable way
