Hello! Thanks for this wonderful course. I am really enjoying it, but I think I have noticed 2 mistakes in Polish 5 (level 1) Its written there that “wschodni” is western and “zachodni”’ is eastern. Shouldn’t it be other way around?

Juris is of course right, “wschodni” should definitely be “eastern” and
"zachodni" should be “western”. I don’t know how I could have mixed up
these two, my apologies if it was my mistake. It shows in the backbone file
that these two words had been moved at some point so maybe that’s when the
mistake occurred.

There is: human - prawo (do czegoś)
Should be: human - ludzki
There is: a right - ludzki
Should be: a right - prawo (do czegoś)

I found an error in the Polish 5 course and I didn’t see if anyone has already reported it.
“ona świetnie gra na gitarze” is translated as “she’s great at playing the piano” when I believe it should be “she’s great at playing the guitar”.

In Polish 2, Level 19, the course translates Washington D.C. as Londyn and New York as Edynburg. I’m not fluent in Polish, which is why I’m taking the course, but this doesn’t seem to be correct. Thanks in advance!

in the middle - po lewej; na lewo (powinno być: na środku)
to the left - po prawej; na prawo (powinno być: po lewej; na lewo)
to the right - na środku (powinno być: po prawej; na prawo )

Nie wiem czy to dobre miejsce na moje pytanie - ale do rzeczy. Jest podstawowych kursów j.angielskiego 7 jakie kolejno kursy robić po przerobieniu tych 7 ?

Niestety w tej serii jest tylko 7 części, więc nie mogę Ci polecić żadnej faktycznej kontynuacji. W sumie tych 7 części zawiera około 3000 słów, zwrotów i zdań, więc jeśli udało Ci się już przejść cały kurs, to moje gratulacje.
Mogę Ci ewentualnie podrzucić linki do dwóch innych oficjalnych kursów Memrise na poziomie średniozaawansowanym, ale zaznaczam, że te kursy powstały wcześniej, więc nie są kontynuacją serii “Angielski 1-7”.

Oczywiście jest też całe mnóstwo kursów tworzonych przez użytkowników, ale domyślam się, że zależy Ci na zdaniach, a to już niestety rzadkość, bo tworzenie dobrych kursów ze zdaniami wymaga dużo więcej wysiłku i zajmuje o wiele więcej czasu. Sama akurat dodaję sporo zwrotów i zdań z zajęć do kursów moich uczniów, więc jeśli chcesz, podeślij mi maila ([email protected]) i mogę Ci podrzucić coś swojego. Tutaj nie chcę podawać linków, bo to temat Memrise, a zasadniczo ja tu tylko tłumaczę.

Hi there! Could you change translation in course Polish for Russians
Course 3 level 18 word “ich” translation should be “их” not “я”
Course 3 level 17 phrase “kawał drogi stąd” translation should be “очень далеко отсюда” or “немалое растояние отсюда” not “далеко отсюда” because it mean “daleko stąd”.
Course 3 level 15 phrase “moja mama też chce zegarek” translation should be “моя мама тоже хочет часы” , someone translated zegarek as telefon in russian.

Hi there are SO much such errors in “Polish for Russians” . I think that they made the translations via google translate. Almost in every word set there are mistakes.
Ugly work, brawo memrise!
Why don’t you open an ability for users to correct words in sets?

Polish from russian course 3, problem with words.
Wrong translation of “Jutro” is here - https://www.memrise.com/course/1522641/polskii-3/24/
translated as “утро”, correct translation is “завтра”
Wrong translation of “moja mama też chce zegarek” is here - https://www.memrise.com/course/1522641/polskii-3/15/
here “zegarek” translated as “телефон”, correct translation is “часы”
3x1, 3x2 “From abroad” is “z zagranicy” and not “zza granicy” - the latter is correct gramatically in its own way but its not the translation usually meant by “from abroad”. it’s rather something along the lines of “from just behind the border” in its literal sense.
and small typos:
5x13 stadiom -> stadion
6x16, handlowac narkotkami -> handlowac narkotykami

In Polish 6 level 25 you have the phrase ‘historia lubi się powtarzać’ and you’ve translated it to English as ‘what goes around comes around’ This needs correcting. In English we have the same phrase ‘history likes to repeat itself’. ‘What goes around comes around’ has a different meaning, more like ‘you reap what you sow’ or karma.
