Hi there, this will be the place where I’ll post all my memrise lists based on vocabulary I found in video games. A lot of these memrise courses will be expanded upon a lot further in the future, and there will also be a lot more courses added to the list as well.
Oh no I definitely don’t think anyone’d be able to do so. This is just another way to find some fun vocabulary to learn. I just wanted to use a catchy title.
I’m doing a similar thing for Dangan Ronpa and it’s made studying a little less boring.
You may want to consider adding in levels and a section for testing on english meaning. Don’t know about anyone else but I like having the vocab broken up and to learn reading and meaning together.
Either way keep it up. Nice to see courses that cover more obscure topics.
Once I’ve finished a few of the Japanese course’s I’m currently learning from, I’ll definitely be using these courses as well, they look really helpful.
Good choice :b I have spent the most time on that game so far and there’re still at least a 100 more words that will be added to it (probably even more).
I am sure that this is very possible to learn foreign languages with the help of video games. But you should notice that those games should be online so you can speak with people from another countries. When I was playing World of Warcraft I learned a little bit of russian, because I was going to 3v3 arena with 2 russian guys. Then, I started to play CS GO and there you can learn a lot of things in French, German, Polish, Russian, Greek and Japanese as well (but it depends on the server). It is pretty interesting, especially when you have adequate teammates. Now, I want to sell csgo skins and to move to PUBG or Fortnite, which one is better?
