[Course Forum] Japanese Duolingo Extended Version by LingoBean

Hello everybody, I need help, I would like to contact a creator of this course: https://www.memrise.com/course/1598009/japanese-duolingo-extended-version/
Could anyone help me? I am using her course and I have found some mistakes, which should be corrected, but I don’t know how to contect her. :disappointed_relieved:
Here is her profile: https://www.memrise.com/user/LingoBean/courses/teaching/

Hi, @jessie177.

Since it looks like LingoBean hasn’t registered on the forums, your best bet is to request help from a staff member in trying to email them. If there’s no reply after a while, you may be able to be made a contributor to the course and make the corrections yourself.

@Lien seems to help with these matters. ‘Tagging’ her (with the @) should alert her to this topic, so hopefully she can help you out.

Hi,

Thanks for the tag. I have emailed and invited LingoBean to this thread.
Hopefully they can join us here soon. Please remind me in a week or so if we haven’t heard back by then.

Best wishes,

Lien

Hi Lingo,
It’s nice to meet you.
I am really sorry for such delayed answer. I have been busy, so I didn’t check the forum.
I would like to tell you where are the mistakes which I found.
The first mistake is in chapter University - Part I, in sentence せんこうはだんですか What is your major? I think it should be せんこうはなんですか instead. The wrong term is Japanese word だん which should be なん (Japanese word なん means what).
The second mistake is in chapter Communication, in Japanese word (phrase) ちがいします, there is displayedし in this word but kanji version is without し. In my opinion, the kanji version without し might be better, but to be honest, I am not absolutely sure. That is all that I wanted to tell you about mistakes which I had found so far. But despite the fact that there are some mistakes (everyone makes mistakes) there, you did a great job when you created this course. I really appreciate it, and I would like to offer my help to you with developing this course if you like to cooperate with me.
I will look forward to your answer.
Have a nice day.

Jessie
