[Course Forum] For all courses created by @pdao

@lurajane - I believe that it would be disrespectful to @pdao to have his courses brought back without his approval. He very obviously was a big proponent of Memrise. He sought to help the community. He felt that the Memrise corporate decisions made Memrise no longer an interesting project to contribute to.

He left.

He took the conscious decisions to delete his courses. He could have decided to leave without saying anything and allow his courses to remain. But he did not.

In my mind, it is akin to a couple that splits. You take your things, I take mine. His courses, which he kept updated and current, were his contribution. Memrise without him will be poorer, but that is a direct consequence of Memrise’s corporate team’s actions.

Consideration and respect command, in my mind, that we respect his wishes, rather than try to circumvent them. And if we disrespect such an outstanding (ex-)member of the community, we disrespect the whole of the community.

And if we have no respect for the community, what the heck are we on the forums for? Why would anyone create a course out of the goodness of their heart, to be disrespected, to receive no compensation, to receive no accolade, to receive grief and demands?
