Hello! I found some errors in this course.
It’s not always clear which answer is the right one!

For example:

  1. Curses, like chickens, come home to roost. and Harm set, harm get. = Wer anderen eine Grube gräbt, fällt selbst hinein.
  2. to lock the stable door after the horse is stolen and to shut the stable door after the horse has bolted = den Brunnen erst zudecken, wenn das Kind hineingefallen ist
  3. to wait and wonder and Just wait and see. = abwarten und Tee trinken
  4. Beauty is only skin deep. and All that glitters is not gold. = Es ist nicht alles Gold, was glänzt.
  5. Like will to like. and Birds of a feather flock together. = Gleich und gleich gesellt sich gern.
  6. Don’t count your chickens before they’re hatched. and There’s many a slip twixt cup and lip. = Man soll den Tag nicht vor dem Abend loben.
  7. Close, but no cigar and A miss is as good as a mile. = Knapp daneben ist auch vorbei.
  8. Better safe than sorry. and Discretion is the better part of valour. = Vorsicht ist besser als Nachsicht; Vorsicht ist die Mutter der Porzellankiste.
  9. You’ll catch more flies with a spoonful of honey than with a gallon of vinegar. and Good bait catches fine fish. = Mit Speck fängt man Mäuse.

I don’t think @azrael42 is active in this forum (otherwise his name should appear with a greyish background like @haeda does). You can ask @lien to mail azrael42 and / or ask her to be made a contributor to that course - then you can fix the mistakes yourself (or rather add hints).
