Discussion thread for Core 2k Kanji - Onyomi and Kunyomi
This course tests any kanji that both A) Appears in at least two words and B) Has the same yomi in those same two words. Out of the 2000 words in Core 2k, approximately 410 kanji qualify for this.
Less a study course and more for confidence of those that completed Core 2k that they do have extensive Kunyomi and Onyomi knowledge thanks to knowing a large amount of vocabulary.
interesting as a repetition course for who already knows a lot of kanji, not suitable for beginners
Definitely not for beginners or as a learning course. More for those that finished two thousands words from the popular Core 2000 list by iKnow.jp.
In Level 5 and 6, Item 15 on both, there’s two words that don’t belong there: た.ぶん and た.しょう
Hi Nukemarine. I see in the SGJL group that many of the upper level courses are not yet available. Specifically 17 through 20, 22 through 25 and 27 through 38. Do you have any idea when these will become available for study, if ever?
