I don’t see password restricted to just internet, because its right in front of me in my calvin and hobbes book when calvin is trying to gain access to the tree house but can’t because he does not know the ‘‘Parole’’ that Hobbes asked him for. For sakes of argument it’s taken off.

We are getting our lines crossed here, I think! 
The English word “password” can be used in all of the contexts I mentioned, military and on the internet, but the German word “die Parole” isn’t a synonym for “Passwort” or “Kennwort”.
In the context you mention above, from a Calvin & Hobbes cartoon, the kids are obviously mimicking a military-style context in their play, so the use of “Parole” makes perfect sense here.

“das Konzept” is also commonly used to mean “rough draft”, so it doesn’t really totally square with “der Plan” as a synonym.
“das Büro” is the concrete place where you work, whereas “das Amt” can be an actual place when it is part of a compound (das Arbeitsamt, das Finanzamt come to mind), but the word “Amt” is generally used in the abstract sense of “office”, like “he entered his first term of office” in English.
I think that they are not really synonyms.
“die Unterlage” doesn’t always mean ‘document’, sometimes it literally means something you lay under something else, like a place mat or a cork mat, or something to write on, like a desk mat. So not really synonyms, IMHO.
The other words in the most recent list
are passable synonyms, as far as I know.

If I was to says blue print, instead of rough draft, how would you feel about der Plan? (I feel it’s the otherway around with Konzept for plan. Seems a little too reachy but works.
First thing that came to my mind for the answer was the abstract sense of office. Hence Amt(although Amt is not always abstract). The question is, should somebody be counted wrong for Unterlage for document, and Amt for Bureau, Office?

I was just looking through your lists and based on what I know of German letting you know that - to my knowledge - particular word weren’t that synonymous.
I think it is “die Kompetenz”, but I assume it is right in the database.

Doubt they’ll ask Memrise or me to delete this course because it’s a free advertisement and they haven’t done that in the past 2 or 3 years.
Not exactly my work. From the very beginning I copied the content from at least two other incomplete Duolingo courses. Then many people also helped in updating, fixing mistakes, adding audio, etc. So there’s quite a lot of effort put into this course by a lot of people.
Anyway, hopefully it’s useful in your learning.

HI, I was wondering if you could make the capital letter versions of the umlaut characters available on the review. I have the ALT commands for them on a sticky note on my desktop, but sometimes it’s not open, and when you’re doing a timed review and you don’t remember the codes, it’s a bit frustrating.

I had the same problem so I ended up making my own keyboard definition and when I’m doing German I just switch to that. I ended up using something close to the German keyboard definition except that I swapped the ‘y’ and ‘z’ keys because I never did get used to the qwertz keyboard.
