[Course Forum] Beautiful French Words by Flamantrose

Kudos to @flamantrose for creating this great course, however there are a couple of issues.
Level 6: démentir (to deny); and Level 11: nier (to deny)
Could a differentiation be put in here as one only has a 50/50 chance of getting the right word.
Levels 19 & 21: Ahurissant (staggering) - same word on both levels. Merci beaucoup.

Hey @flamantrose - any chance you could take a look at this please?

Hello there, Sorry about that I was gone on vacation and missed this message.

Voilà, c’est corrigé.

I put in prompts for (to deny)…

As for the doubled ahurissant, I changed one of them so there is something new to learn. In the past when I deleted an item in a course it was impossible to learn the course at 100%. So i did not just delete the item.

The new term is a coined phrase…
“a staggering success” => un succès foudroyant
(added the audio)

I also changed the prompt for the other
"staggering, mind-boggling" => ahurissant
with new alternatives, “sidérant” et “stupéfiant”

It is not required to type out all three possible answers, but may help if you have learned sidérant ou stupéfiant which in fact are much more common.

Hope this helps !

That’s excellent Flamantrose - thanks. I found another duplicate, “le rédacteur”. It’s on Level 6 and 21. Merci beaucoup.

Good Evening,

I’ve changed this. Two prompts

le rédacteur => editor (person: manages newspapers, etc.)

le relecteur => editor (person: corrects text)

a small useful nuance (also avoids deleting items in the course)

Cheers
