First of all, thank you so much for creating this thread! I missed the notification about the discussion forum change, as apparently many others did too,
I’m more looking for advice, not a problem: do you have favorites of your advanced French expressions courses, or recommendations? I’m at level C1, have been living in France for nearly 3 years, currently doing my PhD there. Oddly enough I’m having more trouble understanding lunchtime conversations at the office than actual meetings. I’m looking to learn more idiomatic expressions.
Favorites of Advanced French Expressions courses. Most certainly the most followed one.
This is the first course that I created from a list dating way back [2000] when I first moved (back) here to France.
It was created with the help of very good native friends who were also interested in finding the English equivalent and were very qualified (teachers, lawyers, writers). The top 3 courses I that offer are from this experience. The other two :

With this one, I would start at the fourth card however, because the first four are filled with expressions containing “bouche” that you don’t really need to get through lunch ! (quoi que…)
Otherwise it is just up to you… for Memrise pacing yourself is the key. For lunch, asking lots of questions if and when you can when you don’t understand
