Both ‘Achterliggend’ and ‘Onderliggend’ use the translation ‘Underlying’.
It’s pretty frustrating to keep getting them marked wrong and having to repeat them because of not guessing which one it wants.

I love this course, but the author is obviously inactive. Thus, I’ve forked the course. I added audio (100% AUDIO!) erased some errors, took care of duplicates (like onderliggend vs.achterliggend), added missing parts of speech, added “the” if noun and “to” if verb, etc. It’s basically still the same course, but better (I hope).

thanks for making the other course, Robert, I had tremendous probs with the yuehan course (I’ve studied for 3 semesters in Rotterdam, worked in Amsterdam for one year and have close kin in the Netherlands, so I do understand some Dutch)

I have to wonder why the King of the Netherlands is studying Dutch on Memrise.
Don’t forget: I’m only half-Dutch. My father is German. Need to practice, practice, practice…
